Khai Lin Sng
Heritage Future Leaders (HFL), Co-Founder and CFO of Fundnel, Singapore
Khai Lin is the co-founder and CFO of Fundnel. She established the private investment platform in 2015 with the vision of making a difference to small and medium-sized enterprises that experience insufficient access to growth and expansion funding.
Khai Lin has significant expertise in banking and private investments, possessing more than five years of experience working at JP Morgan, Citibank and CIMB-GK Securities. She graduated with top honours from University College London (UCL) with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics.
At Fundnel, Khai Lin is primarily responsible for the company’s financial and operational strategies whilst providing foundation to a strong team of visionaries with her execution-driven work ethos. More than just a gatekeeper, she fulfils the role of ‘leader-by-example’ with aplomb. Fundnel has seen considerable growth under Khai Lin’s leadership, expanding beyond the city state to Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia and Australia.
In recognition of her achievements, Khai Lin was conferred the Entrepreneur Award at the 2018 Women of the Future South East Asia Awards. The award recognises trailblazers making changes in their fields of work. In the same year, Khai Lin was also presented with the Stellar at the Women Entrepreneur Awards 2018 for her outstanding entrepreneurial qualities exhibited in pioneering private equity investments in Singapore.
Out of the office, Khai Lin is a passionate supporter of animal rights, clocking in hundreds of hours to marine mammal conservation and research projects.
